Advanced Pipeline

Visual direction, prompt-to-reel pipeline, visual storytelling, and motion design

5-Layer Prompt Architecture

A comprehensive structure for professional prompts:

  1. Subject & State: WHO or WHAT is in the frame, their current ACTION or POSE, their EMOTIONAL state, and their PHYSICAL details.
  2. Environmental Context: WHERE this takes place, the ATMOSPHERIC conditions, the TIME of day/season, and SPATIAL relationships.
  3. Lighting Design: The PRIMARY light source, SECONDARY fill lights, ATMOSPHERIC effects, and SHADOW behavior.
  4. Camera Intelligence: LENS choice (e.g., 24mm, 50mm, 85mm), ANGLE and height, FOCUS plane, and MOVEMENT potential.
  5. Production Value: FILM stock or sensor, COLOR grading hints, TEXTURE details, and PROFESSIONAL markers (e.g., 'shot on ARRI Alexa').

The Motion-Ready Formula

A formula for prompts that animate beautifully: [Subject + Active Verb] + [Environmental Depth] + [Directional Lighting] + [Camera Spec] + [Cinematic Marker]

The Cinematic Prompt Framework

For truly cinematic results, structure your prompts like shot descriptions: '[Camera movement] revealing [subject doing action] in [specific location], [time of day] light creating [mood], [specific details visible], shot on [camera] with [post-production style]'

The Emotional Impact Structure

Lead with feeling for emotionally resonant shots: '[Emotion]-evoking shot of [subject] [action], [lighting metaphor], [camera emphasis], [atmospheric enhancement]'

The Story Moment Structure

For narrative content, frame your prompt as a story beat: 'The moment when [subject] [discovers/realizes/confronts] [object/truth/opponent], [emotional lighting], [camera reflecting emotion], [environmental storytelling]'

5-Component Structure for Fixing Vague Prompts

  • Subject + Action
  • Lighting + Direction
  • Camera + Settings
  • Environment + Mood
  • Details + Texture
